Yes, though it’s more complex than a standard home install. Strata installations require body corporate approval and specific load management and billing configurations. Yes — EV chargers require a dedicated circuit (typically 32A) hardwired to your switchboard. All such work must be done by a licensed WA electrician. We’re fully WA-licensed and issue a compliance certificate with every installation.
Not always. Many Perth homes have sufficient capacity. However, older switchboards with ceramic fuses or limited circuit space often need upgrading. We assess this during your free site visit and tell you honestly before any work begins. If an upgrade is needed, we quote it separately — never as a hidden mid-installation surprise.
Most standard residential EV charger installations take 2–4 hours — covering the cable run, mounting, connection, and commissioning. If a switchboard upgrade is also needed, add another 2–3 hours. We give you an accurate time estimate with your quote so you can plan your day.
